Padley Gorge in the Derbyshire Peak District is a great place to shoot whatever time of year. Autumn is a fabulous season though to be amidst the foliage as it slowly changes colour from verdant greens to rustic reds and oranges. I had decided to try to capture as faithfully as possible the sunlight cascading through the tree canopy and catching the traces of soft mist that was still lingering about waiting to burn off in the morning sun.
