This pretty much sums up the shot I set out to capture whilst up in the Lakes. Obviously I was in the lap of the Gods for the conditions, but on arrival they looked promising – the light was fleeting and the sun was coming and going through the broken cloud. All I could do was to hope that things the conditions were favourable to me. On this occasion they were and that solo cloud was just the icing on a very lovely cake!!!
Sun setting beyond the Langdales in the Lake District, a lone cloud casts it's shadow upwards into the sky.
